Is there a big price difference between current transformers of different accuracy levels?
Current transformers of different accuracy grades vary in price. Generally speaking, higher accuracy grades increase prices, but the extent of this difference varies depending on factors such as product specifications and type.
Take low-voltage current transformers as an example. According to pricing information on Chint Electrical Appliances Mall, the price of a BH-0.66 series 300/5 current transformer with a 0.2S grade is 113.7 yuan per unit, while the prices for 0.5 and 0.5S grades range from 79.2 yuan to 87.4 yuan per unit. The 0.2S grade is over 20% more expensive than the 0.5 grade. Looking at the People's Electric Group's CTK1-0.66 series of split-type current transformers, the prices for both Level 1 and Level 3 products are 189.20 yuan. The price of Level 0.5 products ranges from 202.71 yuan to 675.67 yuan, depending on the specifications. The impact of accuracy level on price is relatively small, likely because the main differences in this series of products are reflected in specifications rather than accuracy.
